On those occasions when you must find responsible care for your pet while you are unavailable, we are here for you. In addition to the obvious benefit of having our professional veterinary team caring for your loved one, we offer a variety of services from which you may chose. Our most popular is called "Tender Loving Care" package, which includes a comfortable dog bed, daily brushings, three hand walkings or feline play periods, special dietary needs, and extra tender loving care. Guests are served daily breakfast (we provide only the very best pet food - Science Diet or iVet) - but if you prefer, we can serve the food you supply. Our canine guests receive a complementary bath after one week's stay.

Because we care deeply about the safety of every guests, we require that all pets be current on their vaccinations before staying with us. If desired, we can administer any vaccinations needed to bring your pet up-to-date. Above all, we will use every bit of our training to make your pets stay here a pleasant experience. No doubt, this is why some owners report that their pets actually run into our hospital excitedly wagging their tails when they stay with us.

Boarding Requirement All animals must be current (within the last year) on all of the following vaccinations to be boarded at Hidden Valley Animal Hospital. All vaccinations need to be given by a veterinarian. If vaccination was done at another vet clinic and you do not have a copy of the vaccines given, we will call the clinic to verify. If desired, we can administer any vaccinations needed here to bring your pet up-to-date. These are required in order to prevent parasite exposure to or from other animals and to insure your pet has a healthy stay. Dogs need the following: Distemper/Parvo combination (DHPP) Rabies vaccination Kennel Cough (Bordetella) A negative fecal (within the past year) Cats need the following: Distemper combination (FVRCP) Rabies Kennel Cough (Bordetella) Ferrets need the following: Ferret Distemper Rabies Reservations and Fees We board by reservation and fill up fast, especially during holidays. Runs often book up first. Please make your reservation as soon as you know your travel dates. Dogs boarding in cages are charged by weight. Pets over 50 Lbs have to board in a run. We can put two pets together in a kennel. The smallest dog will be charged by weight. CAGES: Dogs boarded in cages (36 X 30) are charged by their weight. These prices also apply to the smallest dog sharing a run with other pet. KENNELS: Dogs boarded in runs are completely indoor. Facility is air conditioned and heated.
